Use Cases
Implemented Use Cases
Single, immediate payment
This use case is suitable for standard purchase flows where immediate confirmation of payment is required.
Event-dependent payment
A payment instruction created in advance but executed only when a specific event occurs (e.g. shipment of goods, completion of service). The funds are transferred at the moment the predefined trigger is reached, ensuring payment is aligned with contractual or delivery conditions. For merchants, this supports flexible business models.
Subscription
An ongoing payment arrangement where a customer authorizes a merchant to automatically collect funds at regular, predefined intervals (e.g. weekly, monthly, yearly) for continuous goods or services. The funds are transferred automatically based on the agreed-upon billing cycle without requiring the customer to manually initiate each transaction, ensuring uninterrupted access to the service or product. For merchants, this guarantees predictable, recurring revenue streams and fosters long-term customer retention.
Refund
A refund is a payment initiated by the merchant to return funds to the customer, either partially or in full, for example in case of a cancelled order, a returned product, or a billing adjustment.
